Green chile festival.

Why I didn't get any legit photos of green chilies at the Green Chile Festival still blows my mind, but that's me for you. I did, however, eat that green chili cheeseburger above and it was pretty stinkin' delicious. This all took place Saturday with the Christian fellowship I've been getting to know better. We took several car loads to a small town called Hatch, where chilies were placed in burlap's and sombreros were no uncommon fashion statement.

A day to remember. Despite the torturous dry heat, New Mexico is pretty awesome.

  2. Glad your having a good time! I wish I could attend a festival dedicated to the greatness of a single food, which in this case is the green chili pepper.
